A downloadable zx spectrum remix game

THE PLOT

The Mekon reveals his typically dastardly plan: Earth must submit to his terms or he will propel a hollowed-out asteroid the size of a small planet into Earth. Dan and his sidekick Digby fly to the asteroid in Dan's spaceship, the Anastasia. Arriving at the asteroid they find small buildings and structures and realise it must be inhabited. Digby remains on the ship whilst Dan is lowered down to the asteroid's surface. Once again, Earth is relying on him to defeat the Mekon.

Heavly based on the 'Dan Dare: Pilot of the Future is a 1986 Video Game by Virgin Games for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64 systems.'

This is my modern 'remix' of the classic speccy version..

cheers mate - aye best to keep yourself right.  I know there have been two  old pc fanmade games - one called dan dare by Ovine (c64 one)  and another called can care, which was a remake of the speccy one, but can't find it anywhere.  Be a shame if never released - good luck

I am still working on DARE, slowly.. because..

Back in march i thought it would be a good idea to ask permission first from the owners,

Ive never asked permission for a known IP before so im unsure if it takes this long for a license, or they know its a 'fangame' and arnt taking me seriously, Time will tell...

there might need to be a Plan B ...
